He had purchased the Golden Cockerel Press in 1924, and presided over the Press until 1933. He worked alongside Eric Gill, Eric Ravilious and many other artists during what became the golden era of the Golden Cockerel Press. This was a highly creative period for Gibbings. A Mirror for Witches is a very collectable example of his work in the 1920s.This book is nearly one hundred years old. It is in good condition. It has deckled-edge pages with some fox marking on the endpapers and some slight age marks on the endpapers. The hardback cover is slightly marked and there is slight scuffing on the spine.
