It contains lots of advertising for bicycles, cameras, air rifles and model aircraft plus ads encouraging careers in the navy and engineering. The exciting short stories and articles on photography, stamp collecting, etc. show the world young British boys grew up in as Britain recovered from the war.The wonderful front cover illustration is by artist ‘Redmill’; another of those great commercial artists of this era.
