U.S. Coupling 2.5” Hydrant Gate Valves are built using all aircraft grade aluminum components with a hard anodized finish to protect against corrosion. The 2.5” Hydrant Gate Valves from U.S. Coupling feature a double sealed knife gate design allowing water to flow bidirectionally through the gate valve. This double seal also ensures a leak free operation at the fire hydrant. The smooth operation of the aluminum knife gate design controls water hammer and reduces potential hydrant main damage. This design allows for a 300 PSI maximum operating pressure. U.S. Coupling 2.5” Hydrant Gate Valves utilize a true 2.5” ID bore for unrestricted water flow when the gate valve is opened 100%. Our hydrant gate valves feature a non rising stem design with a swivel female connection, allowing a compact and adaptable design when connected to the hydrant.
